KeymasterHello Billmahony!
That’s very strange! WhatsApp is typically quite reliable, assuming you have access to a reliable internet signal. WhatsApp works by connecting to the internet, so in order for it to work on your phone, your phone would need to either be connected to another organization’s public Wi-Fi signal (such as a hotel’s Wi-Fi signal) or have a SIM card with paid data. Unfortunately, without an internet connection, WhatsApp won’t work. During your last visit, when you couldn’t get WhatsApp to work, was your phone connected to a Wi-Fi signal or using a SIM card with paid data? Also to check, do you use WhatsApp in your home country without issue? Or do you not use it at home, and you were trying to use it for the first time in Costa Rica?
