    Hey AJA1!

Thanks so much for your interest in DIY Costa Rica!

Quick question: Are you looking for other waterfalls on the property of the La Paz Waterfall gardens that aren’t the La Paz Waterfall, or waterfalls that are off the property of the La Paz Waterfall gardens but in the vicinity?

If you’re after waterfalls on the property of the La Paz Waterfall gardens, you’ll find a total of five waterfalls there, including the La Paz Waterfall. The other four on-site waterfalls (Templo, Magia Blanca, Encantada, and Escondida) are accessible with the same entrance fee you’ll pay to access the La Paz Waterfall.

If you’re after off-site waterfalls, there aren’t too many options in the vicinity. Arguably the best in the region are the few you’ll find in the Bajos del Toro area (including Catarata del Toro, and the series of waterfalls that make up the Blue Falls of Costa Rica, just down the road from Cataratas del Toro), but they’re an approximate one-hour drive from the La Paz Waterfall gardens, so I’m not sure if that drive is too long for you to make.

    Pura vida! 🙂
