Hey Lizardisanerd!
Oh no, that’s awful! Hopefully, this time around things will be much better.
Do you remember where you snorkeled last time? If you were in Playa Flamingo last time too, you probably snorkeled around Islas Catalina. It can take 45 minutes to reach them by boat, so that may explain the sickness.
This time around, you could try snorkeling closer to the shore. Doing so will shorten the boat ride, but you won’t see as much as if you participated in an offshore snorkeling trip. Playa Danta, just up the coast from Playa Flamingo has some snorkeling opportunities. You can also snorkel at Bahía de los Piratas, down the coast from Playa Flamingo.
Pura vida! 🙂
