Thanks so much for your interest in our Costa Rica Destinations Tool! 🙂 In regards to the problem you’re experiencing, please see this helpful paragraph on our Costa Rica Destination Tool page (https://www.diycostarica.com/costa-rica-destination-tool/):
IMPORTANT: The number displayed beside each criterion signifies the number of Costa Rica destinations that fit that criterion as well as all other criteria you’ve selected before it. Every time you select a new criterion by checking its box, the numbers displayed beside other criteria will update. (It may take a second or two for the numbers to change.) Do not select a criterion that has “(0)” displayed beside it; doing so will produce “no results” on the results page because there isn’t a Costa Rica destination that fits all of your criteria. If you get “no results,” return to this page, broaden your scope slightly, and select fewer criteria. If there’s a particular criterion you really want to select but there is a “(0)” displayed beside it, simply uncheck the criteria you selected elsewhere on the form until the criteria you want has a number that’s equal to or greater than 1.
