KeymasterHi Amelie2023!
That’s a great question! Unfortunately, I’m not familiar with a bus route that connects the Poas Volcano to Catarata del Toro. 🙁 You could take a taxi service for the route, but that wouldn’t be cheap. Although the two attractions look not too far from each other on maps, a long drive (roughly 90 minutes) around the volcano would be required, which would translate to a rather expensive taxi ride. 🙁

KeymasterHey Amélie!
Sounds good! One other thought… are you headed back to Alajuela immediately after visiting the volcano and waterfall or will you be moving on to a new destination? A lot of people schedule visits to the Poas Volcano or Catarata del Toro from the San Jose/Alajuela area with onward travel to the La Fortuna/Arenal area. There’s no need to plan for this if visiting the La Fortuna/Arenal area doesn’t interest you, but if it does, you may be able to increase your chance of finding travelers to share a ride with if you visit the volcano and waterfall with the intention of continuing on to La Fortuna afterward.
