Thanks so much for letting us know that you thought there was a problem with a link! I really appreciate your help with that. 🙂

The link looks to be wrong because it’s marked on the map as Liberia (despite the recommendation being San Jose) but it’s actually correct. The reason why there’s a marker on the map at the LIR Airport near Liberia (as well as a marker at the SJO Airport near San Jose/Alajuela) is that the LIR Airport near Liberia is mentioned in the description of the recommendation for “Best Airport.” (Markers are placed on the map wherever sites are mentioned in recommendations, even if they aren’t the primary recommendation–they may be the runner-up recommendation in the category, for example.) When clicked, the link opens the page for “Best Airport,” which has the SJO Airport as the winner. The description also talks about the LIR Airport, though, which is why the “Best Airport” recommendation is also marked on the map at Liberia.
