Atenas has a fair number of vacation homes, so there are lots of options if you’re open to that. I’m not sure how short your short stay will be, but if you only need a hotel for a night or two, say, I like Eden Atenas, which is a small B&B. If you want something more luxurious, don’t miss The Retreat Costa Rica.
