Absolutely! There are tons of great options. My favorite beach-hopping road trip in that area is Playa Flamingo -> Playa Conchal (I prefer the less busy, west end of Playa Conchal, but other travelers like to see the crushed shells at the east end of Playa Conchal) -> Playa Puerto Viejo. All three of these beaches sit south of Potrero.
