KeymasterHi Dyardy_1993-BC!
Excellent! It’s always fun to meet travelers who plan to have several weeks in the country. You’ll be able to do and see all you mention (plus a lot more, if you wish), and you shouldn’t need to take domestic flights–you’ll have more than enough time to drive yourselves in a rental car every place you want to explore.
As you work through your trip planning, don’t hesitate to let us know if any specific questions pop up. In the meantime, I’d start by recommending that you check out our Costa Rica Destination Tool (https://www.diycostarica.com/about-the-costa-rica-destination-tool/), which is free for you to use as a DIY Costa Rica member. The destination tool can help you narrow down other places that would be worth visiting, such as beach destinations, in addition to the places you’ve already settled on. It can also help you discover great bird-watching destinations and the few places that offer canoeing. 🙂
